About Us |
Motivation Call |
Balboa's JROTC is a high school program that involves the curriculum and extracurricular activities. In the JROTC curriculum, a cadet builds leadership traits, responsibility, life building skills, and citizenship knowledge. Cadets are given the opportunity lead a classroom to develop their sense of responsibility decisiveness. We also offer extracurricular activities, also known as Special Teams, which includes Squad Drill, Drill Platoon, Color Guard, Exhibition Drill Team, Flag Drill Team, Drum Corps, and Raider Challenge. Through our Special Teams, a cadet learns more about how to work as a team and be more involved with the program by participating in competitions and volunteering events. Balboa's JROTC program is involved with community service in and out of school. We, as a program, strive to make others feel welcome and safe. All students are welcome to be apart of Balboa's battalion.
